Early Detection of BER
Project name: Early Detection of Behavioral and Emotional Risk Among Children Through Universal Screening at Schools
Description: Depression, anxiety, and stress are common mental health problems among adolescents. Cross-sectional and longitudinal studies have found that students who experience mental health problems (e.g., ADHD, anxiety, or depression) tend to have school and social problems. In particular, the COVID-19 crisis is likely to cause a decrease in children’s academic achievement and an increase in their behavioral and emotional issues. The purpose of the study is to identify students at mild risk of behavioral and emotional problems and then act early to prevent these problems from worsening.
